audi a4 b6 1.8t fault code

hi all,

the engine management light came on today, so ran a quick scan and it came up with the following fault code:

18043 - Powertrain Data Bus: Missing Message from A/C Controller
P1635 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

i've tried searching the wiki for vag-com but cant find anything on this error, anybody seen it before or may know what it means?

Please give us some more details, post a complete scan if possible. We need to see if there are other data bus errors and we also need to see/check control module part numbers and software versions.
