2005 A3 key programming

Hi,

my girlfriend has just bout a 2005 A3 and the remote locking is driving the 2 of us mad, in my s3 when you open the doors with the key both doors and the boot open and stay open until i lock it, just the way i like it with me in control

on her A3 if you press the unlock key once it only unlocks the drivers door, you have to press it twice in quick succession for it to open all the doors, even then after you are doing about 7mph all the doors lock again, ****** pain in the ****!!


i have vagcom so can make the changes to the programming if someone can please let me know what i need to change so it is the same as my S3

It should say on the ross-tech wiki what changes you need to make. Ive never dont an 8P.

you want to remove selective unlocking and the anti hijack features.

But if you login to the correct module on vag com and recode it it will tell you what you need to change.

Its easy peasy. But i actually enabled these on my car as i like them
