    i just got this fault code..

    Control Module Part Number: 8D0 907 557
    Component and/or Version: 1,8l R4/5VT MOTR HS D05
    Software Coding: 04001
    Work Shop Code: WSC 00000
    1 Faults Found:
    01262 - Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
    26-10 - Output Open - Intermittent


    obviously its my n75. i have not long replaced this. could this be an old fault still lerking??

    Now to many mods to list! Lots of power, torque and Leather!

    i'd clear it and see if it returns

    if you didnt reset the fault codes when you changed the valve it may just be left over.

    It worked fine on my car bar the surging, i would clear it mate and see what happens,it will stay in memory from the original fault

    ok... fault has been cleared. mark, serging is the exact word for it! thats what happens.

    fault has returned so im assuming its the n75. maybe the surgeing is whats popping up the fault. these things happen, mite try a H valve now what do we recon?

    If you want PM me and we can link up tonight and I will dig out my old DV and I have also have a J valve floating around my engine bay that I could swap with your just incase your may be up the swanny.

    Had the same error code and mine turned out to be a short in the wire about an inch up from where is connects to the N75. Worth checking.

    wooooo hoooo!!!! im now peaking at 13psi and hittin around 11- 12 every boost up!!

    thanks to the Doc and a new n75j! hank fook that problems over, was reall starting to annoy the crap out of me!

    Case closed!

    He got it free so all sweet, I just think some J valves have a issue from the get go as so many people have issues with them yet put another in and wham different car.

    Alpinehead: I think your car must be chipped as an un-chipped car would not pull 12psi to 13psi without a MBA not unless the J valve is working way better than any of us would have thought.

    Bryan did you sell the K04 as I put a couple of people your way?

    Yeah it went off today for the paltry sum of £ 335 on ebay. No one approached me from the site.

    Meh !!

    G, i recon yours is chipped already as there is no way you will get that much from a non chipped car as Doc stated.
    Also i note from your ECU number that yours must be a later 96 as you have a later type ECU fitted, so thats good as they are easier to chip/tune

    tell me about it, i was happy as pie sliding all over the wet roads last night on the way home with lots of boost again. lol

    ahh well as they say.... **** happens!! gonna look for a new wing 2morrow. as for the bumper, im gonna get an s4 bumper fk it!! lol
