Help

I am trying to make my car unlock all the doors and boot with one press of the key button, and also remove the seatbelt chime - I cannot manage to change either of the settings?? I am running 7.04 version.

I have managed to make it beep when locking and unlocking, so I know the system is communicating

Any help much appreciated:friends:

First thing I'd do is to post the section from your Full Scan showing the Comfort System as it will be a long coding issue.

I changed the selective locking fine on my 2005 A3.

Seatbelt Chime will be the Instruments so again post that section from a Full Scan.

I'm sure that Sebastian will be able to help given that info.

Regards

Paul

I also replied on the 8P forum but just for any else who may look here:

I think you can change the Selective Unlocking using VAG-COM without using any long coding.

It's Module 46, Channel 003 (Selective Locking)
0 - Unlocking of all Doors
1 - Selective Unlocking

For the seat belt chime
it's again Module 46, Channel 011 (Lock Message - Key)
Return message when locking via key switch.
0 - No return message
1 - Beep
2 - Blink
3 - Beep & Blink

This is a useful site for some of the coding:

Serbastian,

Am I right in assuming you can recode the items I have shown without using Long Coding? Thanks.

Dave,
that's not for the seatbelt chime - it is for the action taken when the door is locked with the key: none\beep\blink\both.

Yes I realised that after I posted it.

The site that I mentioned also has a German version which has a lot more information and codes than the English version.

http://de.openobd.org/audi/a3_8p.htm

Anyone fancy doing some translation!!!

Yes I had a look at that site as well, but it does not have as much information as the de.openobd.org site, but at least it's in English!
