hi Car drives perfectly then randomely EPC light will come on, first time this happened when car came to a stop would not go anywhere (no power) turn off then back on all good.

Has happened about 3 times since over a 2 week period, last time it happened came to a stop then tried to take off again car drove fine, didn't want to continue incase lost power while driving, pulled over turned off then back off all good. happened 3 more times of the way to work.
yesterday happened twice on the way to work about 45min drive, then for first time happened on the way home, first time it has happened in morning and night of the same day.

only happens when car is cold. no problems at all when car is warm!!

HI has the ecu been changed over? As this would show as incorrect chassis (vin)number and may not been calibrated correctly to your engine.
Hope this helps
