Convienience Indicators

You know what I mean - When you flick the indicator stalk and they flash three times then turn off. How do I turn these on for a 2001 S3?

I have done a bit of research on here and have found this: "Its under 46 adaptation channel 12."

What/where is 46? Is it the same for my car? And what I should put in to get them to work?

Found 46. It's the "Central Convienience".

So really, the only question I need answering is, what do I need to change the value in channel 12 to?
