Is it possible to change the coding to have Side lights as DRL's and also be able to change the brightness when Dipped/Maim beam is used?

The reason for this is that I have retrofitted some A6 LED lights that I have connected to my Sidelight wiring loom and not only want these as DRL's but need them to be dimmed when driving at might.

Am I asking too much?

You can adapt the conviniance ECU for DRL, but don't think you can adjust the brightness!

you cant code the sidelights as DRL, only the main beams or fogs

there are 2 options - usa which is front dipped only or scandanavian which is dipped plus rear lights.

you can set the %dim of the power to main beam when running as DRL but i dont think this will help, and there is a fair chance the led pack has a solid state driver which will make dimming them impossible - it keeps the led current constant over a wide range of voltages.
