Alarm horn activation

In the long coding for unlocking I have ticked the horn via remote, my question is at the botttom there is a ticked box marked "Horn Confirmation configuration blocked" What does putting a tick in this do?

It enables the related adaptation channel and FIS menu option.

Ive got a lot to learn about VAG-COM but I will get there

FIS=DIS, which means in German Fahrer-Informations-System, or in English Driver-Information-System - or even easier: The big display in the middle of your instrument cluster which allows you do alter some comfort related settings.

What does each do? mean?

Don't touch these, they are related to the country the car is being used and produced for. The safe functionality should be explained in your drivers manual...
