which version is best to check out abs problem on my 2000v a6 ??

had vagcom for a while but used it little but as a monitoring tool on my tdi golf....now we have a 2.4 v6 a6, we have an abs fault and i cant get my vagcom to work...which version do i use....704 etc....nothing from controller comes back on what ive tried.....any ideas ?? also heard of abs controllers needing overhauled etc...

if you can't connect to the abs controller it sounds like it's fubar, loads of posts on the forum about this fault, it seems fairly common. think firms like BBS reman can help you

nothing from the obd controller not the abs....it wasnt picking anything up from the car at all...used to work n my tdi golf....wrong software ?
