My A4 1.8T mid 1997 has the interior monitor sensors in the pillars
and a switch to switch on/off.
It seems to not be working, when I use VAG.COM it reports
"module not responding".
any help please?
Regards,
Richard

i thought the module was under the rear seat but ETKA shows it in the LH side well in the boot, in anycase the number seems to be -
4DO 951 173 B for the module with a seperate switch.

Thanks for your reply, so I guess its a seperate module just for the interior monitor system?
Do you mean the left side looking from the boot or front of car.

sides are always described as if you were sitting in the drivers seat so it's the near side as in near to the kerb or passenger side, unless it's a left hand drive in which case it'd be the drivers side.............i think.............oh my head hurts

Hi Dave,
Pulled out the trim in the boot, did not find the interior monitor module.
When i did get is a pulled back muscle on the left side which has now put me of work today.
I guess I will look under the rear seat when i am fixed.
