What I can do to a A3 8L

My Vag com lead fianlly arrived today and I'm going to play with my car this weekend

I have found you can change some things on your car and I'm going to try the followin

1. Beep when alarm is active
2. Locks doors after 10 secs


Is there anythin else I can do.

I have a 2001 facelift A3 1.8 Sport

Get a seatbelt light on the dash like a Volvo if that's your thing.

BTW it locks the adoors above 15MPH and until key is removed...a nice feature.

yeah that is a nice feature!

I want mine to bleep when the alarm is activated too, im forever checking to make sure ive locked mine!

OK, had a playon Saturday and managed to do the following

1. anti highjack doors
2. beep when locks
3. reset my airbag cos it had a warning light on, was cos the connector came loose

Couldn't get the seatbelt light to come on added 2 in 17 but still wouldn't work

Any ideas?
What else can I do?

Thanks to the info from steve I changed the settings for the seatbelt icon. Only problem is it comes on when I start the car but goes off after 5/10 seconds?

Anyone any clues

I'm looking to get "beep when lock's" put on this weekend but it isnt me thats doing it so i would like to just hand the guy the code/instructions on how to do.
Can you tell me how to do it??

Where you gettin it done and is he charging you?

The code is in setting 35 in vagcom and you add 1024 to the code that is there

To get the door lockin after 10/15 secs and the beep ad 1056, which is 1024 for the beep and 32 for the door locking.

Seatbelt is add 2 in setting 17 but it goes out after a few secs for me.

Garratt83, could you confirm for me that I go into 35 - Central Locking, 07 Coding, and then litteraly add the numbers above (whichever I want to do) to the number already there. (Mathematically as opposed to on the end of!)

Sorry, new to this and don't want to **** anything up!!

Just for search purposes..... We did this on the RS4 today by adding 32 to the code for the locking.

Didn't do the blip blip but it was an option in the nice handy XP bubble telling me what each code does!!
