I have got this working no problem on my A4 but I also have a brandnew VW Caddy (CAN-BUS) and I have managed to stop the selective locking (pain in the arse!) but I cannot find the confirmation beep, has it got this facility?
I also looked in the Wiki but to no avail.

Bits pertaining to the locking confirmation should be in Byte number 7 (which is actually the 8th byte since the first one is number 0) .
