SERVICE RESET..

My a4 now shows service reminder when i turn on the ignition,any idea's how to reset it to 20,000 interval, its already on longlife servicing,and i service myself so need to know how to do this manually (if it can be done) or via VAG-COM...THANKYOU!

Download version 704 and use the new Service Reminder Reset feature.

or you can just pull the mileage reset button out for 10 seconds. this has the same effect - says so somewhere in the manual.

Nope, doesn't have the same effect. Such a manual reset will set the car to fixed service intavals and since he claims to have a 20.000 interval that's clearly flexible/longlife and should be treated right.
