    just bought an s3 and im interested in purchasing some sort of vag cable.

    its a 2002 51 plate s3 so i dont need a cable that suits new VAG's.

    From what ive read, you need a cable and the software downloaded to a laptop.

    What kind of price are you looking at for the cheapest cable and a free old software version?

    Is there a medium price cable and an expensive one too?

    What are the benifits in buying an expensive cable and wuld i ever need the extra functionality?

    Where do u plug the cable in?

    thanks

    Nick

    "Cheapest" may be cheap, but it is quite possible you will pay in the coin of frustration before you actually get anything to work.

    Medium = KEY Series

    Expensive = HEX+CAN Series.
