About LinkBacksMine dont seem to chime anymore for petorl light or for low washer fluid level. Is this something that I may have turned off in VAG-COM or the more likely option that they are pumped?

You can't turn that off by accident. Now what I would do in your case, perform an output test on the cluster and by then the warning chimes and such should be tested and you should be able to hear them.
