Remote operating wierdly...

Hello all,

I have a 2001 Audi S3.

I tried to re-code module 35 to include the horn beep function. The original coding was 15187 which i changed to 16211 using this http://www.kevin-st.co.uk/tt/codes.htm program.

Unfortunatly there is no horn beep and the following has occured:

When the remote unlock button is pressed the car doors lock, but the interior light comes on and the boot unlocks, im not sure what status the alarm is.

When the lock button is pressed, the car doors unlock but the boot locks .

When the ignition is switched on the doors locks!

It seems the doors are out of sync with the rest of the system...

Needless to say i have tried to recode with the old code but to no avail! Can you please point me in the right direction any help grately appreciated!.

What radio model do you have?

Are you sure the original code ended in a 7.

Try entering 16200 = 98- with alarm + keyless + windows up + one touch unlock.

you are right, it didnt end in a 7! Like a t1t i wrote the original code down wrong, it should have been 15178. when i put this in all was ok.
