1996 audi a4 turbo witch one???

hi to all I have a 1996 a4 1.8 turbo and was wondering which vag-com software download i need and which lead i need also the port is in the rear ash tray if that is any help.i need this to reset my service dash lights.any help would be much apreciated .thanks to all. mike1234.

For a 1996 A4 1.8T, I would recommend the Ross-Tech KEY series interfaces which you can get from distributors in the UK or from Ross-Tech direct.

Your connector you said is next to the rear ashtray as shown here:

With an interface directly from Ross-Tech, you can download the current version of the program which is version 512.4.
