Hi,

I have an Audi Q5, (2010) with HDD MMI Nav, SD card readers etc but no bluetooth,

I have been told that the bluetooth hardware is installed in the car howver it was not selected as an option when the car was new and that it can be activated via vagcom and the hidden menu in the car,

I am based in South Wales and was wondering if anyone could assist or knows anyone who is able to assist

if you get the codes etc
I can do it any weekend in barry ?

Hi Mate,

Thanks for your reply, I found the following instructions on the net but unfortunately they don't mean much to me, is this something that you are able to do:

Please find below the different steps to activate the BT on a 3G MMI. To do so, you'll need the famous Vagcom.

1) Enable the hidden menu [Vagcom]

STG 5F (infotainment), Select
STG adaptation -> function 10
Canal number 06
Value: 1

2) BT activation [Hidden menu]
To enter into the hidden menu, you have to press simultaneously [Car] + [Setup] for 6s

Under Diagnostics \ Misc phone parameters\
From: xx / xx / noBT / noHFP To xx / xx / BT / HFP

3) Reboot the MMI

Press simultaneously 1 + 2 + 3 (this might take up to 60s)

reboot MMI.jpg (46.41K)
Number of downloads: 36

4) Infotainment adaptation with the BT [Vagcom]

STG 5F (infotainment), Select
STG adaptation -> function 10
17 canaux - Bluetooth module (internal)
Value: 1

5) Enjoy

yeah I have vcds so shouldn't be a problem
