It appears this car is stuck in an initialization mode? No known work carried out leading to the fault as far as im aware, in the measuring blocks in 44 it would appear angle is not reading/changing from zero.
Steering stop limit adaption failed using the full lock left and right and centre method.
Basic settings not available, just error out.

Am i missing something here or is the G85 goosed?

Also is the AUX heater on this A3 the 1 cylinder desel kind you find in the pheaton/A6 etc? Or something else as output tests suggested the unit was firing up, but no control as an aftermarket head unit was installed..

Any info would be useful as im having a blonde moment!
Thanks

It does appear it just needs the procedure followed through, been there myself before & they can be funny at times.

The 2nd error will clear when limit stop is completed.

Aux heater is electric assuming its a diesel car, of which all derv's seem to have, you're thinking of the auxiliary heater for preheating of the car via a remote to sharkfin antenna that enables a small fuel based heater unit, that only Nordic countries usually spec as standard, very scarce in the UK given the climate.

Any suggestions how to clear this stop limit adaption? What do you do when the usual method doesnt work?

The heater makes sense, I have worked on one on a phaeton, that was controllable by a timer on the head unit after a few vcds tweaks.
At what point do the electric ones operate and what controls it?
