Hi,
I am fitting a gen 3 steering rack to my s3, upgrading from a gen 2.
i have read on the Ross tech site and other places that I will need to get the new rack flashed with the appropriate characteristic curve and until then it will work with a linear curve.
my question is will the car drive ok on a linear curve?
i fitted a brand new gen 2 rack a few years ago and I never had a curve flashed to that so I'm guessing it could drive exactly the same as I'm used to anyway which will be fine as far as I'm concerned.
hopefully someone will know,
cheers
