I know its not Audi but a guy round the corner from me is having limp mode issues possibly boost related. Ive logged 3 10 and 11, I think I can see requested boost graphs but lazy actual boost, however the labelling isnt great. Car is a y reg 1.9dt 100bhp passat

Also the afm values, I think im seeing expected value topping out at 850mg but the other reading never really makes it there.

Again im not 100% im reading blocks correctly. Yesterday the car felt flat all the time no turbo, n75 actuates in output tests. Today he Mr muscled and was a clear different but still limp mode.

There were a couple of fault codes
00741 brake pedal monitoring implausible signal
00575 intake manifold pressure 17-10 control difference intermittent

Any ideas?
thanks tom

Sorry just pulled the log off my other machine.

Fault table
Notes:
  • ◆ The fault table is listed according to the 5 digit fault code on the left.
  • ◆ Before renewing components indicated as being faulty, check the wiring and connectors to these components as well as the earth connections using current flow diagram. This is particularly relevant if faults are output as "occurring sporadically" (SP).

  • The injection system is equipped with an idling speed smooth running control. There may be power differences between the individual cylinders (component tolerances, jet drillings, compressions etc.) which are recognised and equalized via selective injected quantities.
    Recognition at idling speed is via the signal from the engine speed sender which delivers four signals per crankshaft revolution to the control unit. If the signals are delivered at the same rhythm then all cylinders work the same. If one cylinder is weaker then the crankshaft takes longer for the next half revolution. Conversely a more powerful cylinder accelerates the crankshaft so less time is taken.
    If the control unit recognises a difference, then the relevant cylinder is given more or less fuel, until the engine runs evenly again.
    The measured value block displays the injected quantity differences of the individual cylinders compared with No. 3 cylinder that is required to ensure an even engine idling speed.
    +... mg/H: The relevant cylinder is less powerful than No. 3 cylinder and is therefore supplied with more fuel.
    -... mg/H: The relevant cylinder is more powerful than No. 3 cylinder and is therefore supplied with less fuel.
Display group 00 at full throttle (test drive in 3rd gear, coolant temperature not below 80 °C)
Notes:
  • ◆ When testing, accelerate vehicle at full throttle.
  • ◆ The measured values must be printed out or read (2nd person required) when the revolutions reach 3,000 rpm.

This is what i did, the mbar figures though, which is actual boost and which is requested? In my graphs the first figure appears to be the requested, and the figures are always a lot higher, peeking out to a flat line, and the second set when plotted would suggest a very lazy turbo. Maybe the N75, but it was activating ok with output tests. Maybe the pipework.

Im not sure on the engine code sorry. its the older style 1.9 tdi though doesnt look like a PD engine.

take a test drive as mentioned above, and save the logs value block 11
45...94 %OK---

your engine code is AFN

check the boost pressure when driving in the channel 11, on the 3rd gear at engine speeds around 3200 rpm.{ Attache}
Also chanel 10 {air mass meter }
Replace the stop light sensor, it can also cause a loss of power.

boost pressure and air flow meter is measured during the driving gear 3, as defined above.
Measurements at idle do not make sense, because the motor is not loaded.

is the n75 valve clicks that does not mean that it is good. N75 breaks down in such a way that closes after some time while driving, mostly as the coil heats up.
It is not possible to verify it 100 percent , but for sure you can swap from the car in which there is no problem with loss of power
