Hi, I had a problem with the Haldex in my A3, 8P, DTC said "Haldex controller defective". New ones are about £800 so I decided to get mine re-manufactured. I got it back today and fitted it again but theTraction control light comes on almost immediately when I start the car, which I think means I am driving in 2WD. It drives fine which is different from when I had the controller issue but with the controller disconnected giving 2wd previously it was fine as well, so I don't really know from driving if it's better or not. Lastest codes are as follows;
In ABS brakes; 1 Fault Found:
01324 - Control Module for All Wheel Drive (J492)
013 - Check DTC Memory

In AWD; 1 Fault Found:
00448 - Haldex Clutch Pump (V181)
014 - Defective
I am thinking there are stored DTCs in the Haldex controller, how can I check these and erase if necessry. Not sure why it would say pump defective, could thins be because it is not coming on becase I am in permanent 2wd, will it go if I fix teh controller memory or can anyone shed any light on what is happening? Thanks in advance.

Been looking at this again and I don't think power is getting to teh pump, which woudl explain why it isn't operating. When I got the controller back I simply fitted it, should I have done anything else? Before removal power was there and traction control working, albeit I had the usual symptoms of Haldex problems and the DTC saying Controller defective, really stumped with this, not helped by my lack of Haldex knowlwdge.
