Is the 2006/7 Q7 canbus?

I hooked up vcds to the car and expected to find boxes that i could just tick for 'adding extra feature' but cant find anything.

My cars got electric folding mirrors which i would like to (if possible) link with remote key fob so they fold/unfold when i lock/unlock the car.

The other thing i want to do is activate coming/leaving home lights.

I heard ch/lh light can be activated via the car itself but ive no manual so dont know how.

does your car have the ch/lh lights fitted ?
im not sure if you can have the mirrors fold on locking with remote i know theres a fair bit of wireing relays etc with the b7 and 8

no switch fitted for them,someone said you can switch on/off via the car but i dont know.

No you can't just turn feature on and off like that or we'd all be doing it.

There is very little you can do on the Q7 with VCDS to enable features.

Yes the Q7 is canbus for VCDS.
