Hi all.
I just gotten my VCDS cable today and went along to play with it.
Car is MY2010 Audi A3 8P.
Upon first Auto scan 1 error appeared :
So this is my first question, anybody knows how to go about it ?
So later, i kept on playing with the different modules (not changing anything, just seeing the reported values/options and getting to know the software basically.
Then i decided to auto scan again.
Guess what, a second error pops up :
After googling about, i figured that one out with the help of the awesome Ross-Tech WIKI page
(just to document the solution is :
that got rid of that error).
So i kept on fiddling with the program, mainly trying to figure out how to turn the damn DRL Leds on (will open a thread about it, since i can't figure it out yet).
Then i scan for the third time, and a new error appears (WTH??)
Tried resetting the errors but that one keeps coming back.
So my question (2) is, why is this happening and how can i reset it since i am fairly sure that had it been a real problem it would have appeared on my first scan. I highly doubt that something physically broke during my 30 minutes of fiddling with VCDS.
