Hi there, im hoping to get assistance of someone in the Grantham area with vcds, i have looked on the map but am struggling to locate anyone near, today my emission control system light came on and a few days ago my coolant indication gauge stopped working but sometimes fires up again, are these faults something that vcds will diagnose and if so is there someone local that can help? thank you.

Wife asked me if it is ok to drive so I've just been out for a short 5 mile trip, drove beautiful, pulled in drive and switched the ignition off, 2 mins later put Ignition on and hey presto, emission control light has gone!!! Weird!! Is this common ? Should I carry on regardless? I assume it will be back to haunt me soon.
