VCDS log, faults after mapping??

Decided to scan the car tonight just to see what (if any differences) I could see after remapping with a Shark STS unit, I scanned the car & its come up with the faults below. Now I have no idea what these faults actually mean, is it pure co-incidence that these errors could have come up after mapping the ECU?

Thanks for that Bez. I'm sure the 4th & 5th are due to me fitting an RNSE unit without using the updated antenna (although it didn't come up before), strangly I didn't have a single fault before the remap & clearing the faults doesn't appear to do anything as they just come straight back again

So I've managed to get most of these issues sorted, some of them so stupid too like forgetting to put the DVD in the drive to register & forgetting I'd removed the BT unit to fit a newer one!

Im still getting these two though:

01-Engine -- Status: Sporadic communication error 1000
19-CAN Gateway -- Status: Malfunction 0010

both of which have only appeared since the remap

Never seen this before and I scan all cars before and after remapping them. If it was done via the STS I would clear all faults then stick your stock map back on and do another scan to see if anything is flagged up. If not load the performance map back on and do the same.

have you found out any info on this? i contacted the guy that mapped it and he's looking into it but he says he hasn't seen this fault before, as the ross tech site says it does seem to be to do with the map?

Hello,

this is quite normal and nothing to worry about, providing the faults clear. What happens is during the flashing process the ECU enters programming mode and cannot communicate wit the CAN gateway or other CAN modules. DTC is therefore stored. Once ECU is mapped faults should be cleared and not return.

I would take it back and ask him to clear the fault codes. If he cannot do so, then something in the flash screwed communications. He needs to fix that.
