KII VCDS

I've had a couple of members ask me to help out with coding on CAN Bus vehicles, and I've said I can't.

With a KII line VCDS, can I do any coding on CAN bus car, or only read and clear fault codes.

I know Ross-Tech have a capability list, but what upward functionality does the KII lead have?

Sorry mate but you need a hex-can-usb, think about it like this, you would probably be rewarded or helping them & this would go towards & eventually pay for the cable if you can help others, treat yourself

I suspected this - I also suspect the CAN cable will wait until I upgrade one of the cars!
