Im new to this and wondering if i can get some help or advice

I have a 04 reg audi a3 with 55k on the clock and recently the engine management light came on with the code 16618.....the aa guy checked the car and sed the turbo was fine so what else am i spose to be looking for?

Ignore the AA guy.

Ok so I assume its a 2.0 tdi as you havnt advised of this, given age of car & you have an overboost error, its more than likely the turbo needs either removing/cleaning or swapped out, 1st option is my belief tbh.

You need to be very careful mate as it could go again & pop the turbo, thats a mess you dont want to have to pay for.
