TDi Timing

I have a fully registered vcds, and tried to check the injection pump timing. The software is up to date, but the "TDi Timing" box on the screen is greyed out - so it can't be accessed.
Why is that?
I have a 2003 B6 2.5 180 TDi Quattro Sport Avant- engine code AKE
As far as I'm aware, it isn't either PD, or Common Rail, so it should work.
Does anyone know why not?
I've just had the inj pump refurbed, and want to check the timing.
Any help - greatly appreciated.

This is a log of the engine control module (fault scan) I did yesterday. Is that what you mean by log? Does it help?
