3.0 TDi - Fuel pump timing

I have read in another forum someone checked their fuel pump timing with VCDS

Does anyone know how to do this? also alter it if need be?

It's a common rail engine, no such thing available for it ! You adjust the timing on the older 2.5 Tdi engine with a VE injector pump. On the CR engine the timing is entirely controlled by the ECU...
