List of controllers

Hi I am pretty new to working with vcds.
I have purchased a full version vcds and am comfortable around all of the basics.

But is anybody able to tell me the controller numbers for my car?
I have an Audi S3 (2001 AMK)

Also are they any decent help pages for things like coding and adaptation?

I have had a look on the Ross tech wiki page but they done support my car/engine

For a list of controllers just complete an autoscan and this will give you details of the modules that are accessible.

But the page doesn't have any data for the 8L model engines. (the ones listed on the gasoline section look to be 8P)
I contacted the site admin and they have told me that they are not supporting any 8L engines.
