I'm maybe about next week driving up the M1 if that helps, failing that why not invest in a cable.

because a canbus cable is quite expensive for 4-5 setting changes-.-
hardly used my old cable on my golf4

Cheaper than using a dealer if they'd do it anyway & of course any subsequent coding when compared with there costs, would be free as you'd have your own cable

the last 4 years when i got my mk4 i used the cable 2 times. coding the stuff once and checking the error log the other day. spending 350€ on a cable i have no other use for is a bit overpriced. although i dont even have a private laptop in england.

Is there a list of stuff that can be done to my MY04 A3.
Was thinking about

HeadLights always on
Indicators glowing on 15% if not indication(sidemark)
Car Lock on 15mph
ChirpChirp on open and close

Indicators would most likely get you pulled, rest can be done by any competent vcds user.

If you have a look through the Vcd map you maybe find a member with cable close to you who can do a few things for you failing that get in contact with @NHN , @DJAlix as they know there stuff mate
