B8 S4 - No response from the controller

Hi guys,

I would really appreciate some help. I am trying to unlock the hidden menu in my 3G MMI and also enable VIM. I have just upgraded to the latest version of VCDS 11.11.2 x64 and also updated the USB drivers. I have a micro-CAN rev.A which worked perfectly on my 8P S3.

Basically I go to open any module (the one I want is 5F) or auto scan and I get "no response from the controller".

Am I missing something? The wife has a B8 too and it's the same with that.

Hopefully I am just being stupid (highly likely)

Any help would be brilliant!

For those who are interested it was me being stupid. The Micro-Can is not supported with my new car. See classifieds for the "old" lead for sale.
