Changing cluster in a A3 8L 2001 Y reg

Hi, the wifes cluster is playing up. The temp sensor doesn't read correctly. I've tried a new sensor and still the same.
Sometimes it's fine sometimes it reads 110 to 120.

What is involved with changing it? I have genuine Vagcom.

you will need to reprogramme the keys!
vagcom/vcds wont retrieve the 4 digit pin
have you checked the dash with vagcom
17 dash
08 measuring blocks
then read data for temp to see if it corresponds with temp guage you may have another fault?
