Code needed for egr shutoff on A4 2.5Tdi Quatt

hi all as above, i have an audi "X"Reg A4 2.5 Tdi Quattro, basically i'm going to see a mate tomoz in manchester who has a full Vag-
Com, but we're not sure how to shut the EGR off, any help and codes appriceated.

im pretty sure this isnt a vcds thing - its coded within the ecu programming and needs a remap to remove the function, along with a physical blanking plate - thats certainly the case with later PD cars that ive had

On the Ross-Tech site (TDI VCDS Info) there is a coding value to change the valve duty cycle, effectively turning off the EGR. The value given doesn't work for the 2.5 V6 TDi, but go for the highest value possible.
The login code for the AFB engine is 26242, not the value in their example.
