    part number for lost remote

    Ive got a car and previous owner lost the remote,i want to get another remote off e-bay and code it so i can at least lock/unlock the doors,is there anyway i can find out what part number remote i need via vcds as there a few different ones.

    car is Audi a3 tdi 51-plate.
    lowered/half leather trim/leather armrest/led's/mood lighting//red calipers/ lifeshine paint protection/plenty of autoglym/poorboys natty's blue/ch/lh ights

    No nhn i dont........i wish i did......all my friends and family drive vw and audi...........alot of us,trust me...........were audi vw nutters !
