Service reminder date/mileage change. Possible?
In my sisters golf the reminder comes on 20k miles after being serviced.
So now it shows that it needs service in xxx days and 13000 miles.
Can I change it manually with vcds so that it shows 3000 miles?
I'm going away for a while and don't want her to drive another 10k miles without oil change.
Normally I would just change it myself but she will never remember to do it and will drive
until it shows SERVICE

MK5 I assume, you need to goto the service reset area & see what options are available to change for the engine/ecu she has.
