Hi,

Are there any blocks I can check too determine if a 2004 A3 2.0 TDI has been remapped?

Maybe by knowing the 'standard' readings and then the readings that it would show if it had been mapped in any way shape or form?

Cheers

quite difficult but possible

you could measure max boost and compare it to standard, but many diesel remaps dont change the boost pressure by much at all cos they just need more fuel - and a sticky turbo may give you significantly more boost than anticipated anyway even without a remap.

you could look at the injector fuel flow rates at full throttle but you would need the standard amounts to compare to

for all of these you will need to do some research to find the normal values and the appropriate measuring channel, then measure/compare to what the car has

sorry i cant be more specific

You could probably use some logs of the car & work out the bhp, need to ask RT for the blocks to measure & then do some calculations, if its above 140 by some 30+ then its mapped.
