I've got one I've had for my Golf - will this cable and connector work for the S3 - 2001 and 2002


Are S3 OBD11?

Yep No problem.....well at least my cable works on A3/S3, A4/S4/RS4 (B5&B6), TT and Mrk IV Golfs (and a couple of Seats). I'm sure there's more but that's all I've tried.

Do you have the serial cabel version -
not the hex/can cable?

a normal serial cable will work for the S3

I have the latest usb/hex/canbus cable and it also works

so far tested on

03 S3
97 Golf
97 Passat Tdi

think ill start charging [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] to help cover the expense of the thing.
