    Seat belt warning disabled.......Any adverse effects??

    Hi, i've had my annoying chime turned off! Just wanted make sure this won't have any adverse effects on Airbag system etc???

    So how do we get rid of the chime then?? I always wear a belt but it doesnt give me the chance to get it on as i dont wear it to reverse out of my drive or sometimes im on site moving a short distance and dont need the belt on

    It has to be turned off in the controller by VCDS. If you are near anybody that has one its a two minute job.

Mods so far; Cruise, DIS, Mk2 RNS-e, Audi 6 CD changer, XcarLink with self manufactured permanent ipod dock, B8 MFSW, Dectane Dayline Headlights with independantly switched DRL's, RS4 Rear ARB, De-badged, RS4 pedals, HIDS, RS4 front grille and RS4 style fog surrounds, LCR splitter in Satin Black, Rear Park Assist, LED gearknob, Red footwell lighting, Kitchen sink and Shower cubicle.

    If you have an electronic handbrake there's also a VCDS tweak so that the seatbelt doesn't need to be plugged in for it to release when you pull away. Both that and the seat belt warning are really useful when just shunting around on your drive etc.

    I've got vcds mate I'm just hopeless at it and need my hand held to do anything on it! Lol

    I can scan and carry out a re gen!
