    VCDS-lite 2002 A3 "Not OBD II Compatible"

    Hi,

Keep getting this error on my A3 Tdi?

I've check the drivers are installed...and its also on the correct com port.

When it scans it goes through everything the comes up "End Test" but with o results etc??

Then when doing the compatibility test it comes up with the above error?

    Any ideas?

I'm using an ebay cable with VCDS-lite (also tried it on the older version of Vag Com) with windows vista.

    Cheers
    Phil

ok..well I've found a bit more info and the OBD II bit should not result in it not scanning?

Any ideas why it won't scan?

Drivers are ok...serial port is ok..lead into car. Ignition is on.

Can you access a module directly instead of an auto scan
