Broken my Lead :( I think

I was running VCD 805.1 with a non rosstech cable on my 8P.

By accident i managed to install 10.3 (Trying to get the latest Lbl Files) and then run it by accident and now my cable will not work with 805.1 or any version.

Has it managed to write data on the chip of my to my cable and rendered it useless now.
