Audi A2 fault code - 00588 - Drivers Airbag Igniter

The fault logged, is saying the Airbag Igniter (N95) on driver's side resistance is too high.

Would I be right in thinking this is probably down to faulty wiring, if not the igniter itself has broken.

How easy is the task in hand to get to the igniter? Where about's is it?

Any help much appreciated.

If this is a seat airbag, check wiring underneath the seat, these on some vag cars, can become disconnected.

Dont try & clear it without checking the wiki advice as it could ignite.
