Exclamation My First vag scan :-(

    Hi guys

I did my firs vag scan today and I'm a bit lost....lol

Am i meant to clear all the faults it finds in the first scan and re-scan?

The reason i ask is that it has come up with things like the alarm being triggered (in multiple places....lol) and temp sensors having faults. And i have receipts with the temp sensors being changed (as well as air mass meter...etc)

    Here are my scan results:

Be the reason why only one of my key fobs work?

Also are the Intermittent” faults the ones not to worry about?

I would not worry about any intermittent faults unless they come back after clearing. I would expect your logged fault codes have not been cleared for a long while so they could be faults which have been fixed etc etc.

I usually just clear them. Drive it for a week or so then recheck

Hmmm.. Ross Tech Wiki shows this, maybe try the solutions as best you can, some seem hard to understand what needs to be done though hah.

    JbO0 - That's what I already told him mate - see post #7 !

Unfortunately in post #8 he says he can't understand them.

The next move has to be take it to a VAG specialist and get them to sort it.
