Anyone know if it is possible to test the turn signals on the instrument cluster (2004 A6 C5) using the VCDS my right hand turn signal is very dim. I have borrowed the software and lead for the weekend to see if I can find the fault.
Thanks
Nick

Cheers will give it a try

Tried the instrument output tests, it tests everthing on the cluster apart from the turn signal bulbs. Anyone got any ideas if there is another way to test them with VCDS.

Take cluster out, remove front fascia, plug in temp & check the differences between left/right at same time inspect what light source it uses, 04 A6 cluster isnt showing bulbs in etka, so led's, reckon possibly going faulty or power supply to it has a dodgy circuit, maybe dry joint somewhere, who knows.

Mines god a problem abit like this, right hand signal works on quick indicators, but not on full ones.
