Thread: Your opinions on Mods for 1.8 T QS

Hi,

I'm wanting to do some engine mods to my ride. It currently has a Milltek Cat back SS and K&N panel filter.
I am wanting to upgrade the turbo, install a FMIC and finally chip/remap her.
Is the KO4 a good option for the turbo or should I go for a Garrett roller baring? Not looking too big as don't want too much lag. Any tried and tested FMIC advice would also be appreciated also.

where in scotland are you?im getting a chipped ecu in mine soon but thats about as far as im going.

I'm in Inverness. I'm was after some ideas for bits but found the other forum with info, now all I have to do is find some cash.
