    confussed...

i have just wrote a in detail thread about this problem but for some reason it did not post.

i really cant be arsed to type it all again so here it is in short.

    1996 a4 b5 sport.

    aftermarket induction, and forge DV.

car was running at 9(ish)psi nicley, no probs,

took her shopping and on the drive home i lost all boost.

took off all boost hoses, checked all boost components and found nothing.
re-fitted every thing and now the car is running like nothing happend.

its only running at 7psi(ish) now which is poo.. but hey i have some boost.

    any ideas people??

    cheers

if it temperature dependant I would be checking the often faulty water and oil temp sensors. you would be amased at what symptoms they can produce

7 psi is also about right for a std car, and it will drop slightly when warm. I would bet its either your actuator or your n75.

If you temporarily pull off the pipe to the actuator and drive the car, if it boosts, its the n75,if it doesnt its the actuator or wastgate.

PS don't drive it far like that
