    Splitter dump valve

    has anyone got a splitter dump valve on there 1.8 20v turbo if so how do u set it up propally coz im having problems with it spluttering and seems a bit slugish plz help lol

    hi when you mean spluttering do you mean like jerking on accelerartion like you keep taking your foot on and off the pedal

    its like its over boosting!!!! ive adjusted it recently it seems 2 b a bit better bit its still doing it a bit

    To be perfectly honest, 1.8T engines were never designed to have BOV on them, so my suggestion would be take it off, reinstall the original Bosch valve or a Forge 007 DV and sell the splitr. I have one on my 1.8T and had exactly the same problems, to be honest, it needs to be setup on VAGCOM and monitored properly to see if you are actually encountering problems or not.
