Audi S3 210 or 225? How can you tell

Ive just bought an audi S3 2002, Im planning to take it for a remap this weekend but they want to know if its 210 or 225bhp and i was just wondering if anyone could help me out which it is.
Im sorry if this question has been asked before but i cant find it.
Help appreciated.

Best way to be sure if its a 210BHP model or 225BHP is to check the engine code.

APY = 210 BHP

AMK= 210 BHP

BAM= 225 BHP

You'll find the engine code on the left hand side, at the front,stamped on head. You will need to remove the engine cover and check near the timing belt. Quite easy to see.

look in the boot tyre well....the sticker there will read 165kw if its the 225 BAM engine)

re-map wasnt good. the problem was the car had not been serviced like it said it had in the book. Its had the same oil for 50k and same plugs for ?. as soon as the re-map was done it would get to 3000 and judder like it was miss firing. Its going for a full service next week. luckily it was a free 5 hour trial so effects wore off. It seemed alot quicker up to 3000 than before so i might go ahead with it after the service is done.
