TDI Induction kits/Panel Filters
Has anyone fitted an induction kit or changed there panel filter on there TDI.

If so, can you notice much of a difference?

Also, which one have you installed?

I installed a K+N cone on my A4 tdi 130 and to say it sounded **** is an understatement.
Didnt really notice anything else really so it came off a couple of days later.

I've got a custom made airbox with custom air intake running through a K&N Panel. No sound difference, and made a BIG difference to responsiveness. Can't say I noticed a difference in acceleration, but lost the slight hesitation that you have between pressing the pedal and feeling the surge!!

Put a K&N induction kit on the 1.9Tdi Passat i had, made pick up a bit better, 2-3mpg improvement , more induction noise not unpleasant. All in all i would say it was worth doing
